The 2015 vintage in Mudgee was a return to more ‘normal’ conditions, warm but not too hot, dry but not drought and with timely rain. Cool evenings resulted in a good ripening period which especially favoured the Cabernets.
Medium to full-bodied with a stunning palate. It is smooth, elegant, refined and restrained without being austere. It is balanced, long and delicious. Varietal, elegant and complex, a well integrated nose. Black and red fruit in the foreground, supported by fine herbaceous notes with a hint of pepper and dark chocolate in the background.
